Nile River

Known as the longest river in the world, the Nile is not only visually stunning, but is the focal point of several centuries of ancient history. From legendary tales of Biblical times to the stories of Cleopatra, this river has many tales to tell. Treat yourself to one of the Nile River Cruises, viewing Egyptian life on the river. The pyramids and tombs were often built along the river, since ancient Egyptians believed that the river was an influence on life and the afterlife. As the largest city in Egypt, Cairo is the center of industry and commerce. Here you will find not only the modern conveniences, but also many bazaars and outdoor markets with local goods and merchandise that has been imported from the region. While in Cairo, be sure to check out the Cairo Tower, located on Gezira Island. This 187-metre structure gives a fantastic view of the city and outlying areas. The public transit system in Cairo has been greatly improved in recent years, allowing for easier travel around the city.

Mt. Sinai

As a very important and historic Christian site, this is proclaimed to be the place where Moses led the children of Israel and received the Ten Commandments from God. It is also claimed as the place where Moses saw the burning bush and spoke to God. The site is currently the home of St. Catherine’s Monastery, also known as the Monastery of the Transfiguration.

The Pyramids

The most recognizable and popular tourist site in Egypt, the pyramids are filled with legends and mysteries. Located in Giza, the Great Pyramid is known as one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. Built during the second century B.C., these pyramids stand as witnesses of the Egyptians architectural and engineering mastery. They have been studied by many archaeologists and have been the subject of thousands of articles. Your visit is not complete until you see these ancient structures.

Day 1: Private tour at Khan el Khalili Bazaar

Optional or on Request. Depends on the arrival time. No trip to Cairo is completed without a visit to the city’s most notorious Khan el Khalili bazaar located in the Islamic section of the old Cairo. This colorful open bazaar is filled with unique and exotic items from spices, perfumes to jewelry & Souvenirs. After the tour you can retire to your hotel


Day 2: Cairo – Sharm – Moses’ Mountain

After breakfast you will be transferred by an A/C bus to Sharm. It is 384Km long journey and probably will take 8 hours to reach Sharm. On arrival you can retire to your hotel in Sharm. We will pick you up from your hotel in Sharm El Sheikh at 10:30 pm by a modern air-conditioned vehicle to drive to St. Catherine city, it takes about 3 hours driving. You will have to start climbing the Moses’ Mountain which will begin at 2:00 am.  You will be spending the night Camping.


Day 3: St. Catherine – Cairo

The decent is around 7:00 am. Then you will be able to visit the St. Catherine Monastery which is considered one of the most famous monasteries in the world. St Catherine’s Monastery in Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula is believed to enshrine the burning bush from which God first revealed himself to Moses. It also contains a treasure trove of icons and ancient manuscripts. St Catherine’s, an Orthodox establishment, is one of the oldest Christian monasteries in the world and has been the center of monastic life in the southern Sinai. Monks have lived here, in the shadow of Mount Sinai, almost without interruption since the Byzantine emperor Justinian built the monastery in the 6th century. Since the location was difficult to protect from marauders, Justinian surrounded the monastery with a high wall.Most of what can be seen on the site today dates back to the 6th century. Then you will be going back to Sharm El Sheikh from there you will take a flight back to Cairo to your hotel.


Day 4: Departure

Egyptian Museum tour Optional – Depends on the Departure time. As you are in Cairo only for a limited time we are committed to show as much as we could therefore, we will pick you from the hotel after breakfast. You will be taken to the Egyptian Museum which features artifacts from the Paranoiac period. This is a 30-40 minutes’ drive from the airport. Along the way we can stop for few minutes so you can enjoy a freshly squeezed Lime Juice
